Health Enterprises Products Earn American Podiatric Seal of Acceptance
June 17, 2009 - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
North Attleboro, MA, June 17, 2009 – Health Enterprises, Inc announced today that the company has been awarded the prestigious American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) Seal of Acceptance for its Therapeutic Foot Massager and Tru-Ice™ Reusable Ice Therapy.

The APMA Seal of Acceptance Program was created to inform podiatric physicians and consumers about products whose quality, safety and effectiveness promote good foot health. In order to qualify for the Seal products must pass a grueling scientific evaluation by a panel of APMA members and rigorous testing at a recognized laboratory. The results are then evaluated by a committee of Doctors of Podiatric Medicine who decide to grant or deny the use of the Seal.

Health Enterprises was awarded the coveted Seal for two of its therapeutic products. The Therapeutic Foot Massager helps relieve pain, reduce stress and relax tired feet with three easy to use massage options (massage with heat, massage with cold or basic massage). Tru-Ice™ provides cold therapy in one-third the time of an ice bag to help reduce swelling and relieve pain with an ergonomic, reusable design and patented liner system for the full benefit of ice without the melting mess.

“Both the Therapeutic Foot Massager and Tru-Ice™ products have been medically proven to bring relief to individuals suffering from foot pain, using the latest technology in over-the-counter foot massage and cold therapy treatments,” said Dr. Ronald D. Jensen, APMA president.

“Health Enterprises is very excited to be recognized with the APMA Seal of Acceptance. The Seal is an affirmation of our commitment to develop innovative healthcare products that better meet consumer needs,” commented Brendan Leonard, president of Health Enterprises, Inc.

Founded in 1912, the American Podiatric Medical Association represents the nation’s premier foot and ankle physicians. The Association has component societies in 53 locations in the U.S. and its territories and a membership of more than 11,500 doctors of podiatric medicine.
